ELECTIONS

 

Candidates may display appropriate election posters starting

on Wednesday, May 7th. 

Elections have been postponed until Wednesday May 14, 2008.

 

 Class of 2012. Three candidates are needed to represent your class in the Student Council.

If we do not receive petitions, elections for next years 9th grade class will be postponed until next school year.

 

Stage 20 presents Frost Rimes, an original adaptation of the poems of Robert Frost.   Frost Rimes offers a unique vision of one of Vermont's best-loved poets.  Through sound, voice, and movement the show brings his poetry to life.  Come see this unique presentation at Mill River's auditorium, on May 9th and 10th at 7:30

p.m. 

 

PROM TICKETS

Prom tickets are on sale in the main office from Mrs. Bride AFTER Block B or from Mrs. Congdon in room 114.

MRU Senior & MRU Senior are FREE ~ Senior must sign up and obtain a ticket.

MRU Senior and Guest are $10/couple.

MRU Junior and a guest are $30/couple.

The prom will be held Saturday, May 17 at the Holiday Inn from 8:00 pm – midnight.

You may bring only 1 guest to the prom.

All school rules will apply at the prom.

 

PROJECT GRADUATION RAFFLE

TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE!!!

The 2008 Project Graduation committee is raffling

4 BOX SEAT NEW YORK YANKEE tickets.

The game is July 1st at 7:00 p.m. against Texas.

There will be only 250 tickets sold.

The tickets are only $10 each.

The drawing is May 20th.

If you are interested in purchasing a ticket see Mrs. Bride in the main office OR call Cheryl Maniery at 770-8122.

Mill River Union High School's annual Celebration of the Arts will take place on May 21 and 22 at 7pm.

Both evenings will feature exhibits of students' art work, photography and woodworking.  

On the first evening the Mill River instrumental music ensembles will perform a wide variety of music.

The second evening the Mill River vocal music ensembles will perform.  

The evenings are free and open to the public.
