AMERICAN LEGION AUXILIARY JOYCE PARKER SCHOLARSHIP
Applicants must be entering a health occupation either 2 or 4-year program, and his/her parent, grandparent, or great grandparent must have served in some branch of the US Military.  Applications are available in Student Services.

PAUL P. HARRIS ROTARY SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
The Wallingford Rotary Club sponsors 3 scholarships that are awarded to  Mill River graduating seniors who have financial need, desire to further his/her education, show academic promise and believe in serving your community.  Any Mill River Union High School senior may apply.  Applications are available in Student Services.

Rutland Lodge #79 Free & Accepted Masons Scholarship
Any graduating Mill River senior who plans to further his/her education may apply.  Applications are available in Student Services.

VERMONT GOLF ASSOCIATION
Applicants must be a graduating senior, place in the top 40% of his/her class, have combined SAT score of 1500 or better and be accepted as a full-time student at a college/university at the time of consideration.  Criteria used for selection are financial need, academics and the applicant’s (not the parents) connection to the game of golf.

OMYA Industries 2009 Scholarship Program
Four $2,500 scholarships will be awarded to graduating area students who plan to study in the field of science or engineering.  Applications are available in Student Services.

Mt. Moriah Lodge #96 Free & Accepted Masons
 of East Wallingford Scholarship
Graduating seniors who live in East Wallingford, Mt. Holly or Cuttingsville and who plan to further his/her education are eligible to apply. Applications are available in Student Services.

VERMONT GROCERS’ ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
A total of 12 scholarships will be awarded to qualifying applicants.  Applicants must be either a dependent of a VGA associate or an employee of a VGA retail store member.  For an application contact Donna Hogan at 775-5460 or e-mail donna@vtgrocers.org

Graduating seniors who are residents of the town of Wallingford are eligible to apply.  Applications are available in Student Services.

JAY WILSON ATHLETIC SCHOLARSHIP
Any Mill River graduating senior who meets the following criteria may apply: 

  • Be a contributing member of an athletic team through his/her senior year.
  • Complete an application which includes an essay.

Graduating seniors whose father is a member of the Rutland Council may apply.

5 Different scholarships are available to student employees and/or dependants of an Okemo Mountain Resort employee.

THE RUTLAND PEGTV COURCELLE SCHOLARSHIP
Applicants must be a high school senior in Rutland County, be accepted as a full-time student at an accredited post secondary school and demonstrate involvement in the video arts.

Wallingford High School Alumni Association Scholarship
Several awards are available to students who are continuing their education or plan to continue.  Applicants must be one of the following:

  • a graduate of Wallingford High School (WHS)
  • or attended WHS for some part of grades 7 - 12
  • or be a direct descendant of a WHS graduate
  • and be accepted at an institution of higher learning.

A total of five scholarships will be awarded to students who have been accepted to an accredited institution of higher learning and plan to study in the field of health care.
